中華人民共和國和多米尼加共和國，根據兩國人民的利益和愿望，決定自公報簽署之日起相互承認并建立大使級外交關(guān)系。 | The People's Republic of China and the Dominican Republic, in keeping with the interests and desire of the two peoples, have decided to recognize each other and establish diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level effective from the date of signature of this communiqué. | |
兩國政府同意在互相尊重主權和領(lǐng)土完整、互不侵犯、互不干涉內政、平等互利、和平共處的原則基礎上發(fā)展兩國友好關(guān)系。 | The two Governments agree to develop friendly relations between the two countries on the basis of the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, equality, mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence. | |
多米尼加共和國政府承認世界上只有一個(gè)中國，中華人民共和國政府是代表全中國的唯一合法政府，臺灣是中國領(lǐng)土不可分割的一部分。據此，多米尼加共和國政府即日斷絕同臺灣的“外交關(guān)系”。中華人民共和國政府對多米尼加共和國政府的上述立場(chǎng)表示贊賞。 | The Government of the Dominican Republic recognizes that there is but one China in the world, that the Government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China, and that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. Hence the Government of the Dominican Republic severs "diplomatic relations" with Taiwan as of this day. The Government of the People's Republic of China appreciates this position of the Government of the Dominican Republic. | |
